Yesterday I was out in my dad's garden - North Texas - I grow squash, tomatoes, failed at some cantaloupe so I pulled it up. Was exhausted when I got home and went to bed but woke up with this critter on my face and smashed it against the pillow in a panic. I have no idea if it's a garden pest or I am facing a different problem in my home. My garden is not on the same property, it's at my dad's, so this little guy would've had to be with me all the way. I sleep on a futon on the ground, if that adds any context. Before I crushed it, I thought it was an earwig or something but it didn't seem quite right and it was white. Now it seems something gross came from inside it as it dries up? Lesson learned though, never going to bed without a shower first.
