Morning Glories 2023 # 01

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear that Jackie. Sending our condolences.

Gautier, MS

I'm so sorry to hear the loss of your sister Jackie and of your husband Todd Linda. Praying for you and your families Both. Really sad.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks girls, we just have to grieve and move on. My sister and Linda's Todd had no quality of life anymore, very sad.. At least they are no longer suffering. My sis had lung cancer last yr where they removed part of her lung, never smoked a day in her life, she never recovered fully and was on oxygen. Can't help but wonder how much that further damaged her heart.

Helena, I'm trying to get a few cups ready to plant some mg's. How are your vines doing.?

Gautier, MS

It's sad when life comes to an end.

Hope you get to show some seeds Jackie. I know it helps me keep going and enjoy these blooms. I planted some in ground, first bloom from a purpurea. Others purpureas in pots are crowded. Then I have special ones and ip nils in pots of my favorites. The pink huge is from yesterday's violet bloom.

Helena , those are beautiful blooms. Thanks for posting them.

Thanks Linda. I'm surprised my mgs opened this chilly morning. It was 48 degrees but warming up. The color of choco rose blizzard may be affected a bit.

Helena, love your blooms this morning. Especially pretty is the hige both colors, the choc blizzard and the speckled. That last blue/puple is gorgeous too.
I've got my cups ready so now just to pick out which seeds to start. My
Fertilome potting ,mix which I like to use to start sds is all dried out in the sack, had a tiny cut in the bag perhaps

I finally got some mg seeds planted, 17 pots, I would love to do another 15 or so
Some of my seeds are getting old so we'll see.

I had started 19 mg's, only 8 of them have sprouted. I need to redo the ones that didn;t sprout or plant different mg seeds,

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear that Jackie.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Very disappointing Linda. I filled some more cups today and will plant more seeds.

Good luck with your new seeds.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. I notice 2 more of the mg's that wouldn't germinate have now sprouted. It takes at least 8 weeks for me to get blooms so I'm in a race now to have blooms by July.
