My mother has ordered seeds from a private seller in amazon. They are supposed to be organic heirloom black tomato seeds. However, after she showed me the seeds, I figured they look more like tree seed pods rather than tomato seeds. I have searched on the internet to identify the seeds for an hour and I am close to giving up. The shell is hard, like a nut shell. A nut cracker wont even open them. It looks like it has 2 separate opennings where small seeds are in. My mother kept a few of the seeds, but they look like poply seeds, a little bit bigger. I want to be carefull with what I plant on our preoperty. We have a few acres off forest and I don’t like planting if I don’t know what it is.
Thank you.
