Go_Vols, Re: Desert Dan's Cactus

I just called them today. They have changed their name to Catus Junction, and she doesn't have a website yet, but she is planning on getting one up this growing season. They are wholesale right now and takes customers by appointment only.
I told her about the DG and the watchdog and what you all are doing here, and she sounded thrilled with the idea of word getting out. She's very new to the whole computer, online business setup. She told me she would keep in touch with me, and for me to call her every once in awhile to remind her and pester her to get the site up. I am actually excited about this...lol SHe told me to come by any time to check the place out. So not only I am trying to get another company up here, where those of us In NJ and other states can get Cacti and succulents, I may just be making a friend in the process. ANd had you all not done the watchdog, I would have never gone looking for this place or met this woman. SO I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate all that you and the DG crew do. I figured I would update you on the progress of this place since I asked you to put it up. I hope you have a wonderful holiday and thanks a lot for helping me out.

Ok Dave will do. She says she is going to wait a bit. But do you want me to email you her number or do you want to email me your number to forward to her? I gave her the URL to this site so she could check out the watchdog and see what we are doing. Next time I talk to her I will definately bring you up into the conversation as a source for help. I know a good amount of website building, but not nearly a dot of what you know or as to how to get a store set up on it. I mean I can learn, But heck that would take a lot of time I don't have at the moment. SO let me know what you want to do and I'll get the two of you in touch.

web design and development isn't my business (of course), but I would be interested in picking up a project or two (for the right company, that is) in order to make some addition money for the company and my family. Setting garden-stores up online would be a fun project, but I'm not really interested in heavily marketing it or anything.

So, if it comes up, let her know I'm available to do it, and give her my E-mail address.
