This may seem like a strange question however I've never seen a monarch that I know of (I think I've seen those butterflies that resemble them) and this year I decided I was going to plant milkweed in my yard. I checked today and there are about three of these extremely small caterpillars that might be monarchs but I'm not sure. Sorry for the quality of the image as I used my phone. If these are what I think they are is there anything special I should be doing to help them along in their new journey?

It appears to be so - see https://blog.nwf.org/2014/09/a-visual-journey-through-the-monarch-life-cycle/
Wonderful!! I am so excited that I may see the life process of the monarch. Thanks for the link.
