Thanks Linda and Jackie.
I am enjoying my mg blooms.
I had my hummer visitor come back today, same one from Monday. Still not sure what species it is, Rufous maybe?
A few other pics of my other mg vines to bloom sometime this spring.

Helena, your seedlings look good.
We only get the ruby throat hummer here in Arkansas.
I agree. Your seedlings are looking good. A rufus hummingbird is more rust or copper color.
We get black chinned and ruby throat hummingbirds. And occasionally a rufus.
Looking forward to A 65 degree day today, will feel like spring.
Not a good pic but ochracea opened 1 more bloom and I gathered
5 or 6 seeds
My yellow brug opened a bloom and it will turn peachy orange in a day or so.
A shame her leaves look so bad, I sprayed it and will spray again in a few days.
My giant thistle stayed green all winter even with freezing temps
Glad to see your beautiful blooms Jackie.
Thanks Linda. Wish I had a few other mg's going. Will try to start a few soon.
Looking forward to Helena's pretty blooms.
Thanks Linda and Jackie. I took out my salvias plants and set them on a table by my gh. They have mealy bugs and I need to hose them off. It's still cool at night but maybe it might kill some.
Jackie, I love your beautiful ochracea bloom and your brug. I like the blooms of thistle too but I've never could get any to grow for me. Glad your survived the freezing weather. They have to be hardy.
By the way, my hummer is still coming to feed at the feeder,
Thanks Helena. If hosing off your Salvias doesn;t get rid oif the mealy's, then
try what I do with the q-tips dipped in alcohol, works every time. Yes the
thistle must be hardy, the cold never even fazed it.
I guess the hummers are already making their way back to the states.
Hoping to see mine return in 3 or 4 weeks.
Beautiful blooms Helena. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Sorry you caught a cold Helena,. Hope you;re over it soon.
Gorgeous bloom this morning.
Thanks Linda and Jackie. I'm feeling a bit better. Didn't even check my mg on the windowsill today. My good news is that I saw my first Ruby-throat hummer today for sure.
Glad you;re feeling better Helena, Spring isn't far off if you're seeing
Ruby throats.
Glad to hear you are on the mend. Seems to be a lot of sickness going around this year.
Glad you have your ruby throat hummingbirds at your house.
Beautiful blooms Helena. Maybe your hummer was getting some
heat reflected off the window.
We've had some sunny days here, very nice for a change.
Hope your sun returns soon
Beautiful blooms ladies. Such pretty colors.
Thanks Linda
