I won't be here tomorrow, they're inducing labor at 7:30 am. That could go really slow, it could be really fast. Can't wait to meet my new granddaughter. And if it's a boy, the jokes on all of us, he's got a pink bedroom :)

You have a wonderful Christmas gift coming to you and your family no matter if it's a baby girl or boy. Congratulations ahead of time! Please email me if it is a girl. I have a pink crocheted sweater just sitting here. It was for a friend who recently thought and told everyone she was expecting a girl and surprised us all with a baby boy.

Oh, wonderful, a new baby, and possibly a new girl! This is a great way to start the week. You and your family are still high on my prayer list, but I just know it will all be fine. Rest up, Grandma, you'll soon be wondering when you will ever sleep through the night again. And the nine month old will probably start walking just about the time you could have slept, so there you go!

long day!!! but it's all over. We have a simply gorgeous little bundle of girl. 7 lb. 13 oz, 20 1/4" long. A head just full of long black hair. The birth was beautiful, I was in there, and I couldn't be happier for my son and his wife. Her name is Elizabeth Marie Jackson, a.k.a. Lily.
Being a grammy is the best!!!!!!!!

I heard about it in chat, and everyone was so happy for you. Lovely name, not that I have any bias. DD named Elizabeth, granddarling named Lillian, although we never would get away with calling her Lily. I was there for Lillian's birth, and it was the most wonderful thing. And I know everyone in your camp is ecstatic. Sweet dreams, you earned the rest of the century, and the best is yet to come. I can smell that new baby and feel the softness of her cheek, my goodness what a feeling!
