Smile

A smile is a curve that sets things straight.

A smile is a fortune but you can't sell it,
you can't buy it and you can't steal it,
but it isn't good to anyone until it is given away.

A smile is the cheapest way to improve your looks, even if your teeth are crooked.

A smile on your face can be felt on another's heart. (Rhonda Marlow)

Smiles are contagious...a day without a smile is like a day without sunshine in spite of the black cloud that might be hanging over your head.

A great big smile is the best way to make other people wonder what in the world you are up too.... :-)

A SMILE MAKES OTHERS SMILE WHICH IS GOOD FOR EVERYONE!!!!!

Sometimes a smile is the only kindness many people receive in a day...What may be a little thing to us may mean a whole lot to other people... And they really are a cheap gift. Meems

A SMILE IS THE BEST WAY TO START AND END EVERY DAY !!!!

If you smile a lot, when you get old your wrinkles will be in the right places.

The Value Of A Smile:

It costs nothing, but creates much.
It enriches those who receive without impoverishing
those who give.
It happens in a flash, and the memory of it sometimes
lasts forever.
None are so rich they can get along without it,
and none so poor but are richer for its benefits.
It creates happiness in the home, fosters goodwill in
a business, and is the countersign of friends.
It is rest to the weary, daylight to the discouraged,
sunshine to the sad, and nature's best antidote for trouble.
Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen,
for it is something that is no earthly good to anyone until it is given away.
And if in the course of the day some of your friends
should be too tired to give you a smile, why don't you
give them one of yours?
For nobody needs a smile so much as those who have none left to give!

Dinu... Haven't noticed you posting lately... Good to see you here!

Thanks for the 'smile'.... :)

I looked and looked for this thread so that I could post my meaning. Gee,I didn't think I would have to go back so far to find it but thought it was worth bringing up again, especially during the holiday season. Some people sure are a grump this time of year;they push their way in line, cuss because the isle they wanted to go down was crowded, shove the shopping cart into your ankles to try and get you to move up closer, and you can't because there is a line ahead of you. Some people just have no manners what-so-ever.Now I know why I don't look forward to the holidays. The friendliest place to be during this time of year,is right here in the garden.
So my :-} to all of you.

OH COCO, THOSE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES THAT NEED THE SMILES! THEIR JUST STRESSED OUT AND HAVE FORGOTTEN WHAT THE SEASON IS ALL ABOUT!

Oh,I know MG; This should be the most joyous part of the year and yet it seems to bring out the worst in some people.
ME and DH done alittle shopping Saturday and believe me my tongue was so sore when we got home. I bit my tongue so many times. I just walked away and shook my head in disbelief but I did get a few looks in without my DH seeing.
Most of the children where more polite than the parents where. Just so depressing to shop this time of year.

It is amazing how grouchy people can be, this the season of good cheer. I try to go out of my way to be kind to those sorry souls that are mad at the world. I often will let people in front of me in a line at the store, because it will only delay me 5-10 minutes max...but the person who goes in front of me (most of the time) think they are sooo lucky....and then I always end up talking to them and the line moves faster when you're chit chatting. Of course I have encountered the ones that arent going to smile no matter what!
I also think it is an import lesson for my children, when they see me doing little things like that, and striking up conversations with strangers they are more inclined to follow in my footsteps.
