Best Christmas presents???

I know mine! I know mine! Mom and Dad wrapped up a sweatshirt from an undergrad college I applied to and had been accepted to. They wrote a note to go with the sweatshirt "please wear me to registration." :) In other words, they agreed to pay the extra tuition so that I could go to a private, Christian college, rather than a public, (imho) ickie state school.

Now, that's a Christmas present! :)

My dad gave me a classical guitar the Christmas before I graduated from high school. It is a beautiful guitar and was way expensive, but he got it for me anyway. Mom freaked a little I think, but she got over it! I just "leant" it to my DD and her sweet man at Thanksgiving. I can't play anymore because of arthritis, but I know it will be well cared for and used again.

And then there's the bedroom suite that Stan MADE for me - 3 dresses, headboard and armoire - gorgeous cherry wood. What a sweety. I just have great men in my life!
