Best & worst television commercials?

Christmas seems to draw the best and worst of advertisers. What is your favorite and worst?

My favorite is the Sears commercial where the woman is sitting at the kitchen table and says "I want underpants for Christmas". My dd says that's me! I also like the AFLAC goose commercials.

My worst are the Victoria Secret commercials - they are so tacky - especially where they're parading in the underwear with the angel wings.

My favorite is Mark Martin's Viagra ad..."Who'd you expect, Bob Dole?" The Aflac duck is good too. There are lots of bad ones

Jewel, I agree with you on the V.S. add.
The first thing that came to mind when I saw the title of this was the old Doxidan Laxitive commercial that used to play everytime we sat down for supper. Some guy with his cowboy hat on would sing a ditty about Doxidan..
My favorite Christmas one running now is a local commercial. It is for a jewelry store. It has clips of guys making frustrating noises to the tune of Jingle Bells. At the end is a plug for the store because they know that guys hate shopping.

My favorite commercials are the AFLAC duck/goose/whatever that bird is. My favorite Christmas commercial is probably a local restaurant commercial called EatnPark where a tree is lite up and the tree itself reaches down to help the star at the top. The inner meaning behind it is to help each other during the Christmas season. There's a new commerical out now for the United States Postal Service that is outstanding. Worst commercial? I don't like the Victoria Secret one either. How dare they put gutchies and the like on an angel...grrrr!! "T" :)

I like Terry Bradshaw and the phone line ads about the 20 minutes being less than $1. Sledder where was I when the angel appeared. I missed that one.I also like the old man with the peppermint patty commercial. He says I'm just glad to have a sensation. I guess because I'm getting there.
The worst is Miss Cleo. I hate to see her and I think of all the folks that she is fooling and they are probably the ones that could least afford to lose money.

Same here NJ,the victoria secret commercial is,"NASTY" NO NAYKED(sp) STRANGERS IN MY HOUSE,LOL'
Love the GEICO CAR INS.COMMERCIAL,where the dog hysterically laughs when the guy gets his bill' The dog goes nuts rolling around on the floor,lol'

I hardly ever see commercials because I hardly ever watch TV. From what I've seen, my least favorite is the one where a husband and wife go to an electronics store. She cautions him ahead of time to just get what they want and leave. As soon as they get inside, he appears to be hypnotized and runs wildly through the store. I'm all for a good laugh, but the husband as the incompetent childlike boob is starting to get a little old I think. My favorite would probably be the thank a teacher commercials.

One for a hotel chain where the grandpa says he slept like a baby, and the little boy says, "yeah, like a big ole snoring baby", get tickled again:)
