New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I am looking for the small bone shape cookie cutter that I can buy and make cookies for my dogs.. I couldn't find it around here. If you see or know where to buy.. I will happy to pay you for the postage and the cost. I need one small and meduium size. Thanks..

Do you have a kitchen supply store near where you live? They usually have all kinds of cookie cutters. If not I will check around here for you.

First thought was a Petco(they're pretty big and might know)
Might put this in the PET FORUM for more responses too MS' I'll see what I can find out around here too' Sis'

At the grocery the other day, I noticed they sell dough mix with cutters so you can make your own biscuits. Seems to me like a bone shaped cookie cutter came with the mix. The mixes were in the dog food aisle, along with the Bil-Jacs and the puppy popsicles. LOL Good luck.

http://www.sugarcraft.com go down menu on left til you see cookie cutters. Then when it brings up new list, click on biscuit cutters. Go down to 'D's and they have 4 sizes and a set for 4.59
I've done lots of business with this company and she's good.

When Quynh visited East this summer she gave me a great recipe for dog cookies, which included a lot of vegetables. I have asked her to send it to me again, and I will post it if she doesn't. My dog, who generally won't eat dog bisquits, loved these!

When I make cookies for my dog, I add chopped up chicken livers. Then I pat the dough out on a greased cookie sheet and cut in little squares when done. Many times I leave the pan cooling on top of the stove, and there have been times when the cookies must have dissolved into thin air! Of course my german shepherd is sitting nearby with an honest face! I did get my bone cutter at Michaels. Fun to use with people cookies too! Dog enjoys those also!

Thanks for the receipe.. I am sure my dogs enjoy them.. I went to Walmart and not find the Bone cookie cutter.. I guess I will try at Micheal's. Thanks..

I would call around in your area and see first if anyone does have the cutters. Sure saves alot of driving around. I have my search party out on this end looking as well.

Mini, if you don't mind ordering on line, the source I gave you above is great. She ships very fast. I've ordered on Saturday morning and got it on Monday. She uses priority mail, but that still beats driving around if you ask me.
