Unique and.or Great gardens to visit?

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

Dave, I wanted to post one of my Favorite Garden Places to visit, which is a small, specialized garden shop, with a tea room in a replica 17th century french farmhouse. Since they don't do mail order, the Watchdog didn't seem to be the place.

This small nursery (The Herb of Grace) is such a great place to visit that it's worth a couple hours' drive, esp. if you make reservations for High Tea (4 course luncheon) or just have Cream Tea (pastries and teas). Bobbie and John Cyphers have created such a lovely place, off the beaten path, so you feel it is a treat to be there... like family... and VERY different than any 'nursery' I have ever visited. It's like finding a gem in the forest. I recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely outing... like taking Trish there on a warm day as a special treat!

Sounds like a nice place to be.

I wish that I could go there!! Longwood Gardens in PA and Buchardt (sp?) Gardens in Victoria B.C. were magnificient, the latter had a wonderful tea room also.
