Todays the day

i havent been posting alot this past week because of the homefront.
today we have the appointment with a rheumotologist to finally have my husbands illness diagnosed. we feel confident thats its scleroderma, we just dont know which one, localized, systemic, etc..
we received his lab work last night and it doesnt look good. the antigen levels are extremely high which possibly indicates the systemic scleroderma. thats the one that affects the entire body, organs, etc.
he has already been diagnosed with reynauds syndrome. this has all just cropped up in the past 3 months, very rapid progression.
i dont scare easy, and i have to admit, im terrified.
i have a few more boxes of brug cuttings to get out and i will do that within the next few days, i hope you understand why i havent been able to mail them out sooner.

on top of that (as if) my 10 yo has chicken pox and my 16 yo step son tried to burn the house down.. just thought id throw that in ; )

okay, not good news..it has been confirmed as scleroderma. the doc has order a ton of tests to try to isolate exactly where it is and how far its progressed.
we have both been put on wellbutrin to stop smoking..its REALLY a life or death choice for him, so therefore for me too.
the doc is concerned that there may be underlying lung cancer so hes ordered a battery of xrays and tests for that also.
thanks so much yall for the hugs and prayers...were gonna need it. our next appt is on the 9th of jan to get the results of the tests.
