What to wear to see the Queen

I am going to tiG's over the week end to pick up some brug cuttings and was wondering what attire should I wear now that she is ROYALTY. Also what is the proper etiquitte, do I bow, kiss her hand or what. Just wanted to be proper and not make ROYALTY mad at me and be beheaded. I hope she is a as nice a Queen as she was commoner.

Why, Jim, you wear your courting clothes to go to the Royal Court! If I were you, I would be careful about kissing her hand, it might have (fertilizer) on it. And whatever you do, don't go empty handed, you know you must arrive bearing gifts. It's a very ancient tradition. Maybe you could take her something like Royal Poinciana or Empress tree. Would you be good enough to extend greetings from The Republic of Texas? I know you will have a jolly good time.

The proper attire when meeting with the Great Queen Gasbag is a gas mask. When you meet her you should bow deeply and then offer her your ear....she'll talk it off anyway, no doubt, so just present it upon arrival Be prepared to spend some very pleasant time with her and then get back here fast and give us all the dirt on how fantastic she really is. :)

hmmm, I'd probably wear weeding jeans - she's sure to want some sort of show of fealty. And the gift is a good idea - do you have any gasplant starts???

Perhaps a gift of a Royal Palm? But of course,she's a good Queen and most forgiving of any lack of etiquette(sp),whatever offense may be perceived,lol' After all that's why she has so many plants they THRIVE ON CARBON DIOXIDE,LOL' Just kiddin'tiG,luv you:D

Now we all know that tiG is a benevolent Queen and though she rules with a scepter of prose she will bestow her guest with an abundance of cuttings and a royal endowment of hospitality!

I wore a wind suit so if the gas got to blowing I would be attired properly.

Molly, this visit was only 5 minutes or so. In the parking lot at Walmart. Our schedule here has gotten crazy and Jim works nights, and it's about the only thing we could seem to come up with. I really do look forward to meeting you!!!

Me to Molly. I wish you could have met with us. We have to get together soon. I asked Johnnie if tiG was going to move him out and move more plants in and he said yeah.LOL He seemed to be just as nice as tiG. They make a good looking couple.

I wish you could have talked to him longer, he was really dreading facing Walmart and wasn't too talkative. But we wound up having a great time once he started pressing buttons on toys:)

Oh yes Jim, have you ever heard of a man having a baby? Someone has to get you pregnant so I'll do the right thing and say it was me VIA the computer, at which time you would become the first mother/father and I would be the first father/mother.
Of course after all is said and done we would have to pay your little woman hush monies lol.
