Why do ya all think sauna is too hot? Maybe I just don't feel the hot anymore, or..? Hey, cum on, nice warm steam in 90 C is just relaxing! (or then not.... :] )

evert, do you also beat on each other with birch switches, and dive from the sauna into the snow or icy-cold lake?

Yeah, some do, but I don't like it... and we don't have lake here.. :) In our summer hut is, a lake in summer hut is a must here.

I am curious. I know some people jump into half frozen lakes and roll in snow after a sauna but do they really use switches on each other?

Evert, one of my favourite hobbies WAS listening to the Radio. In 1981, I had heard Radio Finland here and I had reported reception to them to which I got "QSL Card" (acknowledgement). The signal from the station was very weak but still I was able to tune in and hear it. I was so thrilled to receive a mail from there. And it was one of my first cards I received from radiio stations. In later years, I used to monitor Radio Korea International (16 years), BBC (2 years).
