What to get for 13yr old boy for Christmas?

The Giving Tree at work yeilded a card for a 13 year old boy. Most of the cards had specific gift requests, but this one did not. I have no idea what a 13 yr old boy wants for Christmas. Any ideas?

Maybe a 13 year old girl. LOL I have Four Grandsons that fall around that age. Do you know anything about this child?

Do you have a Walmart where you are? They have a personal cd player that comes with everything you need. It cost about $30.00. Maybe a handheld came of some kind. I don't know what you want to spend. I can think of other things but need a better idea of price.

Well,it's been awhile but raising kids still remember their faces when finding a "surprise" tucked into a gift' Perhaps a new shirt with some $ in the pocket,no matter what age a Mc Donald's Coupon Book(taped to his sport equipment,like a ball,etc.)at the truckstops you may still find a puzzel(sp) that you can put some $ inside and really laugh with him,trying to figure it out' Good luck':D

young men are always in need of cash.so many little extras that an allowance just dosn't cover.They like to drop by the fast food places after games,and probably need a billfold to put it in.

im assuming the giving tree is for children less fortunate than ours. i would think the child wants something that would be "just his" but has probably had a life that hasnt given him that luxury. its better to leave it empty than it is to hope for something and not get it.
at the age of 13 my boys started getting interested in grooming. maybe a travel bag with deodorant and cologne, a cute pair of boxer shorts,maybe looney toones or scooby doo.
maybe a skateboard, roller blades or a bike? a hope box for his trinkets...

My son is almost 12 now and portable cd players and gameboys seem to be popular around that preteen age. Tommy Hilfiger apparrel (sweat shirt or such) would be nice. I wouldn't really get any cd's as it is hard to tell what taste he has in music and may be dissappointed when he gets a cd that he just absolutely doesn't listen to. Just a thought :o)

My son is 13 and I have no idea what to get him and he doesn't know what he wants either. But then, this kid doesn't go without much either. What he likes though is anything nike, and they like them big.

A nike or champion sweatshirt would be a good choice I think, but if you don't have sizes, it might be tough, unless you included the store receipt so it could be exchanged for a different size. I would be tempted to get Large and hope for the best. At 13 it shouldn't be too small, and he can wear it big until he grows into it. A pair of Nike socks would be a good companion if you still aren't at the spending limit.

Other things my son is into are sports of any kind, hunting, paintball stuff (I wouldn't recommend this!) LOL!, music, girls, movies, I can't think of anything else.

A lot of kids are really into NASCAR stuff too and I've seen lots of that stuff around.

Oh, and the only cologne my son and his friends will wear is Michael Jordan. They all love that stuff as they think it makes them chick magnets! LOL! It's a funny age, a time when they are trying to go from childhood to young adulthood REAL FAST!

By the way, I think it's great that you picked this one so early. That age group usually is the last ones picked it seems. Probably because they ARE so hard to buy for.

my son just turned 14, so hard to buy for! i would say a gift certificate, will give him the fun of getting to spend it to, plus not knowing size and taste.

A fast car loud music and a Brut air freshener, the rest comes naturely, just kidding , Perhaps a Swiss army knife or maybe some fishing gear for next spring.
