I posted this in the greenhouse forum, but no takers. Please, I need your space! I foolishly placed some old seeds into damp paper towels to see if they were good, and they all sprouted. Now I realize how foolish that was, because I probably have hyacinth vines getting ready for a growing season as winter begins. I propose to send them to someone who can grow them in their greenhouse and send me seeds next year. It will have to be a new owner, because I remember that when I had a greenhouse, it filled up by the end of the third season. If no one is able or willing to take them, I will have no choice but to grow them in every window, in a very dark old house. I can't abandon them after bringing them to life, you know.
Need sprouts rescue mission ASAP
And now they are growing like Jack's famous beanstalk. Tell me what a hyacinth vine is, I never heard of it.
Mary, this is the link:http://davesgarden.com/plants/go/890.html Amiee, I wish I could help you out, but I'd only kill them :(
If I had a greenhouse, I would take them. I'm full to the max with what I have now. I know how you feel, you can get more seeds, but these are living...
