Beautiful blooms Helena..I'm partial to the last one with'a star and stripes, A 4th of July bloom for sure. Very unusual.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh my, those are so pretty. I like them all.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda. That last one is from a old seed with label Pink LYK. Thought it was a neat bloom too. I'll have to check what the next bloom will look like.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, I never even knew there was a Pink LYK. I wish I had reminded'you to pollinate that bloom, I'll be shocked if the next bloom opens the same.
Yes please send a pic when the next one opens..

Gautier, MS

Jackie, I did have a pink one and a lavender one besides the blue LYK. I guess this purple one is a cross, I can tell by the leaves. Yes it did have another similar bloom this morning. Look at all the blooms I had this morning, was too busy to post until now.

One vine I had marked as no Mai came out a tiny lite blue looking
like a species mg.
DH has pulled and chopped my infected pandy down off the fence. If I can clear a space today or tomorrow, I might try to plant a few older mg sds there. Its over 100 here every day heat index, don't know if I can stand to work outside.

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. That yellow orange is my "pumpkin" Jackie. Seems it has new marking along the star, that was the first bloom on a few vines that I planted and are just starting to bloom.
Beautiful blooms Jackie, I love the colors of all those blooms. Would love a few seeds of Debra's Lav. with the star (3rd bloom) if you get enough feeds.
Glad you DH go rid of the infected pandy. Yeah it's pretty hot and humid here too. I spend an hour or so separating and untangling my mg vines that were too close together. I still have to water them.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena. You know I will save you a few sds of the pretty Lav.
Trying to keep my vines separated early on so de-tangling won't be such a chore.
I just don;t have enough room there by the trellls on my carport. I have 30 vines lined up there but only enough space for 12 or so.to have enough room for each,

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms Jackie.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I'm happy to hear you have 30 vines growing, feel about same about space here.
More blooming this morning.

Helena, wish I could remember the name of the 1st one on 1st row. It's
becoming a favorite. Is the 2nd bloom Edo?
Love the lite PInk Tie Dye and the Lav cross.
Tempest, what a beauty
Maybe the PinkTie Dye will darken up.

Debs pretty pink

Thanks Jackie. That first bloom is from AoMurasaki Youjiro Blizzard, 2010 seed which it was supposed to be a dark purple. I was kind of surprised to see it having light blooms. I have two vines and similar color, this is the 2nd vines bloom. I should get make lots of seeds, I'll save you some. Yes the 2nd bloom is Edo, I love the dark rich velvet color.
Love your beautiful blooms. I can see your pandy fence bare. Vivid color on your Mandevilla and your black eyed susies are blooming their hearts out. Very nice.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms ladies.
I love that pumpkin morning glory.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

I love them all. I think Morning glorys are the most interesting flowers. Always a variation with each bloom, no two blooms alike. I have never grown a mandevilla. It has been so hot here and I baby sat the dogs next door this weekend and we spent more time inside than out. Glad you got the pandy and it's disease put away, Jackie. .Maybe you should try a new seed from a different location?

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks ladies. Helena, I still have to pull the dead pandy off the fence, dh just got part of it yanked down. Also he left part of the stems coming up out of the ground which'needs to be pulled or cut or something so I can plant regular mg';s there..
Deb he didn't dig up the tubers and the main tuber is huge by now, started in 2006
so 11 yrs old. I wish he would dig it up and plant it in the front yard, maybe the bacteria wouldn't find it for a while.
Vivid lightning here all the way to the ground. Thunder roaring like a tornado. Hope the'storms end soon.,The rain going around us for the most oart.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, sorry your pandy still needs cutting down. I did that with my wisteria under our biggest tree in front yard where it spread and keeps coming back up. I was out of breath just cleaning a small area, so I know it's a big job doing it at out age. But I now have a fence where I'm going to have my purpureas and higes growing.
Took these few pics at 6:30 before the rain started, it was still cloudy too.
AuMurasaki Youjiro Blzd #1 & #4, same vine as yesterdays blooms.
