This site has always been very speedy for me, but the last two days, it takes up to 2 MINUTES between the time I click on a forum name until I get to the forum and the same amount of time between clicking on a thread name and getting to the thread. I haven't been posting much, because we only have one phone line and I've been trying to keep it open. This has happened with other sites, most notably anything that has .gov at the end of it, but never never here. Is it me? Is it the weather? Is it because it's gotten so dark so fast???

Sorry, I hate to whine, but I'm really missing a lot and it's impossible to keep up at this speed.

It did that to me for a couple of days but it's better now. Dave must have fixed it.

Well, last night and this morning were slow, but now it seems to be back up to speed and the logo is back - I was missing that, too.

Eyes, maybe it's taking turns with the members. Mine is working fine, hope your's clears up soon - it's a drag when you can't respond for looooong minutes, and then, you're out of the mood!

Good grief, if mine took that long, I would think it was in my puter, my ISP or the web and wouldn't have waited long enough to learn the difference. So you all weren't exaggerating when you said bathe the dog, prepare dinner, color your hair, etc. while you wait?

DG was very slow for me last night too. It has happened before, but not often, Thank God. I just log off and shut down the computer. Sometimes it's just DG and other sites are speedy but not always. fyi...vic
