(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Linda I am so relieved. And that is a good idea, Jackie! I'll present that idea to Joe. :)

Gautier, MS

Jackie, glad you have your pictures back.
glad your pandy showed up too Debra.

A couple of nice blooms this morning. Showing some improvement. Just have to keep after the bugs.

I love those colors Helena. Very pretty.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Wonderful blooms Helena. Beautiful shades of blue on the 1st bloom.
Is # 2 Tai aki? Love that color too.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie.
Jackie, the label on #2 says "pink silk cross", maybe a lavender or blue silk. The bloom was huge and I hope to see more of them. The blue bloom is a fancy two tone blue from Azuremore. My last 2 seeds of that variety.
So far I love the blooms I'm getting from this purple dots and specks also from Azuremore. My four o'clock and MW cross.

Thanks Helena. I hope you get lots more of those 2 blooms too.
I love the Blue specks and dots, especially the bloom with splashes of solid color. Very pretty.

A tip: One of my cotyledons, sp? has a hard helmet on so I've pulled it up gently and
placed it in a small cup with about an inch of water, helmet down. it will start loosening up in a few
minutes and I will replace it in its pot. Works every time. The hard helmets is a problem for me since I don;t pre-soak my seeds.

rick rac blooms? wow. I better move mine outside LOL love that blue color block, it is beautiful.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms Jackie.

Gautier, MS

Love all your blooms Jackie. Pretty pink abutilon, wow on the blue block on your unknown mg. The only abutilon I have now is the orange one that survived being planted outside all winter. I haven't checked if my other red one is still around.
Rained last night and cool morning today. Still had some nice blooms.

Thanks ladies.
Debra, a lot of the night blooming cactus prefer to be dry from Nov till March.
Some like cooler (50's) nite time winter temps too. My g house seldom gets down in the 40's.Doing both, dry and cool, helps set buds.Thats how I get my Thanksgiving and Christmas cactus to set buds too.
Beautiful blooms Helena. Love the lavender

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Helena, those blooms are stunning.

Gautier, MS

Happy Mother's Day Ladies!

Oh my gosh, beautiful blooms this morning Helena.
Is # 3 a nil or a purp?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Happy mother's day to all of you too.

Beautiful blooms.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Jackie # 3 and the others are nils except for # 4 is a MW purpurea.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Thank you for the beautiful blooms, Helena. I am so glad we can count on you to fill our senses with such colorful blooms. I really like your lilies, too. I had a good day. Back to work tomorrow, it will be hard to go after being home for two whole weeks.
there are two more pandy leaders off the new patio. Perfect! Just have to get Joe to help me with how they are going to climb and what LOL. All my night blooming cactus are still downstairs and Joe turned on the A/c today so they are definitely going to be cool.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks for that info Helena,

Glad you got two weeks off Debra. Your plants sound like they are coming up good.

Your welcome Jackie. I have a few mysteries label, not what I expected. Sometimes a nice surprise like the bloom from this vine. It was supposed to be baby powder blue, but I'm happy it turned out pink.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Its a lovely soft pink Helena.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

That is a beautiful surprise Helena.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

look AT THE WATER COLOR EDGE. Stunning, Helena. I love it when surprises happen, and the water color ribbon is extra special.

Gautier, MS

Thank you Jackie, Linda and Debra. Yes, I love that bloom.

My nicest bloom today is from the Blue LYK, or should I say Blue LYK label vine.

Helena, either I marked that pkt wrong, should be purple Fuji, or its
a cross. Lovely either way.. :-)

Gautier, MS

Jackie, it's probably a Fuji cross. The bloom was slightly different the other day.

Took a couple of better pictures (sort of) mid morning. Pink specks with white border, pink with heart leaves and purple dots and specks.

Those are beautiful Helena. Love the pretty speckled blooms you're getting.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I like those too.

Blooming this morning. The daylily is really vivid. Sorry #3 is a bit deformed but not as bad as some of my other blooms.

Goodness, those are beautiful.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, wonderful blooms this morning. Is that a chocolate # 2 with a huge white border? Love the color on # 3 . Is # 4 a Pink Porcelain or BB or neither?
An indica bloom I didn;t see coming.
Had a pretty blue yesterday i forgot to go take my pic. Said Lav Beauty but wasn;t even close.

Thumbnail by patootie
Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie.

Pretty Indica bloom Jackie!

Yes Jackie, that is chocolate with the wide border, thought you would like # 3 and # 4 is a Pink Porcelain. So far P P has been a good bloomer.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I'm in love with that big chocolate and it's pretty wide border.

Gautier, MS

I'll tag it for you, and save you a few seeds..

Just a few blooms this morning. Light pink with heart shape eaves, Pink porcelain, Deep purple, Yukon pale yellow. Still getting defects on blooms.

Flower blooms are like home made quilts, not too many of them are perfect, but we still love them.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena,.\
Wonderful blooms this morning Helena.I don;t
see any defects.
Thr soft pink is amazing.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. You guys are so nice.

Already collected seeds from the white hige and a few other purpureas. Some of these vines are going to finish early for me. That's what happens when I start them early

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, can't believe you're already gathering seeds and mine aren't big enough to even bloom. The rain washed away my purp seeds I planted (outside) a little too early so will replant.
