Mail Surprise

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

A while back we received a letter in the mail from a very nice lady and the content boiled down to the nitty griity was she was very impresed with our yard and was glad to see me and my wife out working together as she stated all the time. She went on to say that thier family always talked about us and just wanted us to know how much she appreciated seeing us together. I didn't know her but I did know her sister but not well. Well I went to the mail box today and she had left a presnt in our mailbox. Come to find out they have moved two doors down and she left this wonderful letter and a very nice daily inspiration calendar. Also a drawing that one of her kids did at school. Don't you just love it when people are so nice. I
just wanted to share something that really touched me.

And I bet she didn't even know it was your anniversary! It really does give you a nice warm fuzzy feeling, especially in view of the fact that we hear so much negativity.

I just read your posting Lousia. I guess we never know when we are being watched and someone is being impressed with what we do or vice versa.
Louisa, I believe we can start calling you a true southern lady now. You've met the test.

That's wonderful, Jim! I'd wager your being in the neighborhood was a major selling point for their family. We have a neighbor who, when waved to, waves back sooo enthusiastically. The other day, I pulled over to say hello because he was outside putting up his holiday lights. We chatted a little bit and I said I sure love the fact that he's an enthusiastic waver. He laughed and said you ought to really wave if you're going to wave at all. He said good neighbors are good to have. :o)

Sue I better not tell her about the poseing. She would move before they unpacked.
Hey Kim I think the house was a great buy. I tried to talk my son into buying but that would be to close for paw paw and the grandkids. I bet you are great neighbor.
