Beautiful eye candy!

Lovely blooms from 2011 Debra. Fun to revisit our past blooms.
Makes us appreciate them all over again. Love the pretty lavender # 4
and the 2 toned blue, # 1.

Gautier, MS

Yep, nice eye candy! I agree with Jackie, love seeing blooms from the past.

I'd love to grow these cherry tomatoes again! Also pick these navel oranges, real tasty. Some of my cuttings are taking off!

My neighbor has beautiful orange trees, but the oranges are so sour, no one can eat them.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

You can start some cherry tomatoes in your greenhouse soon Helena. Love
them in my salads. Your cuttings look great, vege cuttings?
Stocking up on people food and pet food in case we get snowed in or iced in.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I just noticed, the last forum post date is finally right showing my post today. :-)

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie. My oranges are very sweet, I have another tree that has what I thought was supposed to be lemons but it's a mix, I think. Haven't checked to see if I have any this year, it's on the side of the house where I don't go often.

Good news Jackie, I just noticed that the updates are correct!!!

Jackie, hope the weather doesn't get too bad for you and on the East coast either. We had heavy rain last night and our power went out for a little while.

Nice, Helena. Are those salvia cuttings? was so cold yesterday and iced over, but I got to stay home for a day. Am fearful for all the folks about to get hit by this storm..
Jackie , you take care!

Otway, OH(Zone 6b)

With the weather that we have coming in I would love to see morning glories blooming. Can't wait until spring. Kathy

It could have been a lot worse here Helena and Debra. We have just a few inches of snow on top of a thin layer of ice. Our power still on for which I'm thankful.
My heart goes out to the people further East who are suffering from the cold and
without power/heat.The best thing I had DH do was install a small gas heater,
no power required just a gas hook-up.So we'reready if the power goes out.

Kathy, looks like you;ve been bitten pretty hard by the mg bug. :-)

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

GLAD YOU HAVE SOME HEAT SOURCE, THAT IS FOR SURE. WE HAVE STARTED THE DIGGING FOR THE NEW BUILDING HERE AT WORK. IT'S ALL FULL OF THOSE BIG TONKA THINGS , LOL
KATHY, HAVE WE SENT U ANY SEEDS YET?

Jackie, glad it hasn't been too bad for you and that you have a heat source.

Glad that you got to stay home Debra. Yes, I have quite a few salvia cuttings growing and a few tropical too.

I can't wait for warmer weather and lots of mg blooms too! It's windy and cold here.

Otway, OH(Zone 6b)

Debra, no I haven't received any seeds yet. I have a small trellis that I am going to put morning glories on this summer. I remember one year when I was about six years old that my Grandma gave me a pack of morning glory seeds that she had received from someone. So, I decided to plant them in the garden. Mom wasn't very happy but she did let them grow, just one of the memorials that I have of my Mom.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena and Debra, I have central heat and air but if the power goes out, the heat can't kick on. Thus the gas heater would keep us warm in this one area of the house anyway.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, It's good to have a second option. I knew that you had central heat and air. It's a blessing to have them.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Oops, I just mis-read Helena. Got too many irons in the fire here.
Yes it is a blessing to have heat.

Sending prayers you don't lose power.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. We didn't get hit anywhere near as bad as our neighbors
further east. Hope they get their power restored soon.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

WOW. just watching the news of the storms hitting the east coast, new jersey shores are getting hit pretty bad. Sending prayers for all.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

5 pm here going to watch the news and weather to catch an update.Oops, Forgot its Saturday
so I'll just
take a nap instead. :-)
