Prayers answered

Thank you everyone for being there with me today. It wasn't quite so lonely sitting there knowing that we were in your thoughts. Everyones prayers were answered and mother and baby are both doing well. DD is very weak as she lost a lot of blood but so very happy. It has been a long day and I have just gotten home. Amber Mae came into the world just before 9 this morning and weighed 7 1/2 lbs and was 20 in. long. A beautiful baby and perfect in every way. Now to rest up so I can spoil her rotten.Thank you all for your prayers. They were felt in the hospital room today.

I can't begin to say how happy I am that everything came out ok! Amber will bring new meaning to the family and it is obious she will never want for love!

I went to visit DD and GD today and DD is doing much better. She still can't eat and is weak but she was up in a chair holding the baby when I arrived.She was going to really try hard to eat supper tonight because she wants so bad to be home Thanksgiving Day.Doctor told her if she was doing good he would let her come home late morning on TG Day.I'll just be popping in and out of DG for the next few days when I have a few minutes as we'll be making pies and preparing dinner to take to her house on Thursday and chasing after an active 4 1/2 yr old.I'll be going over to her house every day to help her when she comes home.I'll make sure though that I check on DG once a day just so I don't miss anything good. LOL
