Hi taters55 hope the surgery will go well because the garden needs you to continue beautifying the yard lol.
Morning Glories 2015 #12
Debra, # 1 I think is Pres Bush, the solid form. It was'sent to me yrs ago under the wrong name
and I didn;t have enough expertise to question it. I spent hours yesterday trying to find
the pics gourd sent of Pres bush yrs ago. She had the solid form and the patternd'form that
I love so much. I didn;t find it and will try to search some more.
The 2nd bloom might be Helenas Pink Porcelain cross x choc blizzard, a version of it.
It has some blizzard going on, Or its from an old sd from 2011, an unknown bloom from'the large tub and just volunteered. I just don;t know,
Helena, love your purps, esp the split petal.
Nice purps C.
Linda, so sorry you need back surgery. I;m sure you'll do just fine. What is going on'with your back ??
Sorry. That should have said hip surgery. I have arthritis in my hip, plus a bulging disc. Hip surgery will be first, then back surgery.
Jackie, those flowers are beautiful.
Thanks Linda, what kind of surgery will they do on your hip? DH's Dr told him there was nothing'they could do for the arthritis in his hip. .Maybe my dh needs a new Dr.
Hip replacement.
Linda,.DH's Dr says
hip replacement won't help him cause its not his ball and socket or whatever you call it.,I wish it was. Then they could do something about it, Anyway I'm sure you will feel a lot better after your surgery. :-)
Arthritis is not fun. I hope he can get some relief.
Thanks Linda.
LK, you gotta get it done and then get up so you can run around and drive up here :)
I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU
Jackie your blooms are so bright and cheerful. It is nice to see them when I am at work, I snuck in and saw them earlier. I am glad to see that maypop/// I am hoping mine will stay alive this year thru winter and come back next year, I won't smother it out like I did this year.
Is the Aogakiyama a purple? I might have one from you.. anyway, I snuck out this am and got some pics, it was kind of dark, so the flash went off. the last pic is from Joe's camera, he took it last week I guess..Did I miss it?? I work tomorrow early so will miss the setosa that is going to be blooming.. *sigh* I keep missing the lav moon vine, I have pods, but have not seen a bloom yet, orange noah is just now blooming on the sunflowers, and I am still waiting for Orchera to bud up.. I feel like I am running out of time, I leave a week from now to Buffalo, and I just know I am going to miss some real beauties.
Helena, did I send you some of those yet? Jackie the second pic is the fence where the dogs tore down the trumpet vine and other stuff,,, now I am seeing the fence again..pearly gates is sure being slow to grow this year.. seems like just when things gets going, it is time to close it down..
Jackie, is the third one silver shadows? I planted that one from you..
look at Helena's star :)
Debra, Your blooms are all just to die for. My favorite on the 1st row is that'beautiful
# 3, a gorgeous blue.and the last pic with the pretty color block.
The blooms on your 2nd row are beauties too Debra. Love the Kohkan.
Your # 3 on the last row could be Silver Shadows
Realize I haven;t seen it for 4 yrs which was the last time I grew it. Love Helenas star
My aogakiyama makes several different shades; purple, plum purple and a lighter
purple bloom. So it changes, maybe due to all the different pollen I put on it,
Debra, edited to say that my Aogakiyama is a cross; Aogakiyama x Choc Silk.
Ive never seen the true Aogakiyama that I recall.

Debra, all your blooms are beautiful.
I took too long again Helena,.Those are beautiful. I think the
Watercolor bloom is amazing!!!
Helena and Jackie, your blooms are awesome.
Thanks Linda and Jackie.
I love your blooms Jackie. I am going to grow Aogakiyama again probably next year.
Love that dark bloom too, could it be a dark chocolate silk? All beautiful!
Helena the first blue is so electric! dang! what is it with water color, it just melts into a river of blue ripples.... your blue silk is so light, like a chiffon.
Jackie, pretty sure I have your Aogakiyama, I planted some from an old seed swap you sent..
love the patterns on the 2nd and third blooms shown. I also have some turks cap from A, they have not bloomed for me, yours is very pretty.
I spoke too soon, about those dang worms, found two dried pods with a hole and dust in them..
wonder if I cut the seed pods early would they still keep ripening? dang!
Scarlett o' Hara x Orihime successful:-)
Thanks Linda, Helena and Deb.
Helena, forgot to say I love your Blue Silk with the
pattern hugging the border of the bloom.I think you must be right
about the dark bloom being a dark 'Choc Silk.
I can;t believe I forgot to mark the Aog with the different patterns. on 2 diff vines,
I'll look for the closed blooms tomorrow.
Debra, I grew the Turks Cap from sds A shared with me,
I have had to cut seed pods b4 they are ripe with good results.
Congrats Tony.
Baby Kumquats from seed
I had a strange bloom yesterday on the vine marked Cocoa Choc. Today
it made a much nicer bloom. no clue what it is but has to be a cross of some kind.
It's on the same vine that has been making Purple Tie Dye blooms
The 1st 2 blooms on the same vine.
A 5 inch Choc Silk, its beautiful.
Purple TD in lg tub out back
Same tub with Deb's pretty pink showing,
Beautiful blooms Jackie. I really happy you are getting some really cool ones too.
Thanks Helena,
Love all your blooms this morning.. The 1st bloom is a beautiful purple,
Crazy about the Clitoria and the hot colors on your Salvia. Your 3rd pic'looks like
the lovely BMN.I think thats what I had blooming in the lg tub earlier this month,
This is beautiful, the tag says LYK with star
Aog from sd collected in bloom close to the cross bloom
Purp.
Ladies, your blooms are all beautiful.
Jackie that first bloom on upper post is really neat. I also favor the first bloom of the second row.. your kumquats are so cute!
Helena love love the first and third blooms, they really stand out. That blue pea is such a cool flower.
Tony, can't wait to see your blooms.
Summer is coming back this week with temps in the high 90's and we thought fall was here..
peppermint hige has shown up.. so has peppermint zinnia
we got some bad news this weekend, you know we are headed to Buffalo, Ny next weekend for a week, and his mom just told him that his baby sister, Betsy (51) has been diagnosed with stage 3 peritoneal cancer..
Joe is a but shook up, we are not looking forward to this upcoming "vacation"
on a lighter note, I got to see my son and daughter who live in Wichita today, they decided to pay us a visit and it was nice.
Love your blooms Debra. The Kohkan is a beauty and your bloom is perfect.
Gorgeous Candy Striped Zinnia.
So sorry to hear Joes' sister's diagnosis.
Debra, I am so sorry to hear about Betsy. I will add her and all the family to our prayers.
Your flowers are beautiful.
Thanks ladies.
Gorgeous blooms Jackie. They really look great.
Gorgeous blooms too Debra. Love your zinnia, wish I had sown my seeds. Sorry to hear about Joe's sister.
I worked on my mgs for a couple of hours this morning, pinching all the leaves off the older vines b/c of the mealy bugs and spraying them too. Tired me out.
All my blooms were small this am.
small but mighty.. I love all three of them. The first one is my favorite.. u know How I love BLUE> ;D
Tonight I hobbled around with my left Achilles tendon hurting real bad, prolly from the walking we have been doing, in my flip flops.. *sigh* anyways, I had to bend the sunflowers down with the vines on them to form the arches, cuz they were in the electric lines, and the squirrels are tight rope walking from the roof to the sunflowers and hopping down and seeing if there is any food on the patio.. bout made one fall.. anywhoo.. go them all arched away from the lines for a while, we will see if it holds. *stoopid critters*
Helena, I love the blue one too but the last one really catches my eye. :-).
Thanks Debra and Jackie.
My mgs aren't looking that great and I only had the purpureas blooming. Haven't even downloaded them yet.
Helena, those are beautiful morning glories!
Jackie, those are beautiful.
Thanks Linda K.
That purple no mai is gorgeous, Jackie. The chocolate silk looks huge. Is it a 6 inch bloom? Oh I wish I could grow an abutilon just one time, but I just kill those things for some reason. I am pretty sure the blue and white i nil pics from my friend are Keiryu.. I gave him some seeds from Ona lee, and his are gorgeous just like yours. These are from yesterday..
