Well no wonder it was always on the pandy, one if its favorite meals. lol.

Gautier, MS

Thanks ladies. Debra, I don't know the name for my white lily. It was a pass along from a dear lady that got me started on hummingbird plants. I've grown this plant ever since, it gets to be 5 ft or so after the first year and reseeds a lot. I have to pick them after the bloom is done or else they would take over the garden just like my crocosnia (sp?)

Love your pretty spider lily too Linda. I see the orange kind along the roads here in the summer.

You are welcome Jackie. Sorry about the mix up seed. I started growing mgs in 07 so I'm not surprised to get mixed up seeds. I have lots of mystery seed packets from times I gathered and by the time I came inside the house forgot what seeds I had.
Love your blooms Jackie. Nice color to them!

Glad you guys ID'ed that bug. I did find one just like it on my mg leave about 2 weeks ago. Had no idea what it was until now. A gold neat bug too bad it does so much damage.

Norfolk, VA

Thank y'all for all the compliments about my mama, she looks very young for her age.

Hi Tony:) I bet your momma is glad she has you.

I know I am glad I have my son.. cept, now he has a girlfriend after being single all his life, it is so weird and takes getting used to for us all, he is 38.

Helena, I have been killing those bugs, but now that I know they aren't the ravenous japanese beetle, I am going to let them chew a few holes. The bug I'd like to catch in the act is the one that bites the flower stems about 6 inches from the bloom and the whole top of the flower stem looks like it has the "bend overs". *sigh*
keep the blooms coming!
I still have a problem ID'ing seeds, so now worries here. You are all such a great bunch of people.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena, I mix up my sds all the time so no problem and I do love the Choc Silk, one of my favorites. It might be if I plant another sd from that same pkt, I might get the Blue Swirl.
Tony nice pic.. I'm sure you got your good looks from your mom :-)

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra I have the bug that does the damage you mention too. No shortage of bugs here.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Your shibori is my favorite purp. I love the higes too (a purp) but I don't have a single one
started.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I like that China Doll bloom a lot too.
Lets face it, it's just impossible to grow all the mgs seeds we have and to keep up with the vines. I guess it's best to do a few at a time so not to get overwhelmed. I have to do that now, getting potting soil and mixing them for my seeding.

I love Dany's # 6 Peach, the color is nice.
Yukon, Full Moon
Dark Pink Frost
