Journal help

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'd like to make a new journal that's private, while leaving my old one public. Is this possible and can I move something from on to the other?

Bonnie,

I tried selecting my "Test Journal" journal by clicking it beneath the "Change Your Default Journal" from my journal homepage, then setting the privacy settings to "private" under it. When I did that, it made both my default journal and this one completely private. Hmmmmmmm.

As far as moving something between them, you sure can. :o) When you have an item open in your journal, there is an option to move it to another category, and also one to move it to another journal. If you want a copy in each journal, clone the entry (also in that menu) and move your cloned copy to the new journal.

HTH! :o)

I found the moving thing right after I posted:) But it won't help if one can't be private, so I'll just leave it for now:)
thank you!!!!

Hi tiG,

Well, I try to keep one step ahead of the members, but on this one you beat me to it. This is a feature that has been on the backburner TODO for a while.

Right now, it's either ALL of your journals are public, or they ALL are private. No in-betweens.

I am definitely going to extend this to allow mix-and-matches, but it'll be a while (maybe not until after the Holidays.. depends on how difficult it is once I dive into this).
