Do you miss anyone??

I certainly do - Ladygreenthumbs!! Since her accident I have not heard from her in such a long time and not seen her post either!! So naturally I'm concerned. She did such a fantastic job for us on the Co-op regarding the geraniums, remember!! But I just miss this sweet lady for herself.

ahh yes! she is a sweetie indeed! She was my first plant trade and she was so generous! I hope she returns. As for your question..hmm..I would say I miss Heidi.

I miss a whole lot of folks that did not subscribe. If I hit the lottery I would subscribe all of them! But I did make sure to get addresses on quite a few so we can still keep in touch. Afraid I don't have hers though. Good thing so many others are still around and I am really enjoying getting to know a bunch of the new friends here too!

Yes, Heidi helped me ID that big old bug picture way back when. She's my bug lady! :o(

Coco I don't think it's because of the subscription that we haven't seen her. She had an accident a couple of months' ago and we used to correspond. Then the emails just stopped coming. That's why I'm concerned!!

Sorry about her accident. Maybe her computer is down and just can't afford to get it fixed right now. Have you tried sending her a snail mail letter??

I never knew ladygreenthumbs was in an accident. how awful. She signed up for the daylily swap - and her trader never heard from her. I thought that it was strange and not like her. I still have her address here. If anyone would like to send a card you can e-mail me for it. I hope she comes back too.

Oh Yah... I wanted to mention AuntyB. Does anyone remember her? I thought she was a riot! She must have mosied off to other places.

Here's a suggestion...if there's someone you miss, drop them an e-mail and invite them back! Maybe that's all they need to encourage them. If the subscription is too great a financial hurdle for them, perhaps you could send them a gift subscription :) Just an idea...

That is a good idea Terry - but like I said before Ladygreenthumbs has been absent for a long time now and even Grits before that!!

Louisa, if you have her last name maybe you could try calling information for a phone listing for her. I bet she'd enjoy hearing from you. I wish I'd known this while I was at North Anna - we had a Fredricksburg phone book in the desk drawer.
I've often wondered what happened to Grits. She was a very kind and helpful member, and she posted a great recipe for chow-chow that I plan to make more of next year.
