CLOSED: Can you identify this insect?

Upland, CA

I consider myself to be a less than an amateur entomologist, who finds insects absolutely fascinating. Entomology would've been my undergraduate degree. I can for the most part identify most insect, but for the life of me, I can't identify this one. I found it in my kitchen sink the other day, but I have also found a couple of them on my bedroom walls some years ago. The head is the pointed end to the right and that's what it uses to crawl. It seems to be encased in an elongated bag. I took a movie of it and the movements are jerky and mechanical like, but a photo will have to do for now. Sorry for the poor quality photo.

Would anyone be able to tell me what type of insect this is? Hope you are able to, since I would really like to know what it is. Thank you.

This appears to be a household casebearer, a relative of clothes moths that appears to prefer chowing down on old spider webs and the like instead of fine clothing...

Thanx Flapdoodle! With the link you've provided, it looks like the very same insect on the photo and so you've solved the mystery! Now I can further check into it. Thanx again! -Ella
