In 1990's there was a rest area for big rigs which was removed as too dangerous for merges along there, but my ex and I have pics of that area at river level, and its COLD! My eyes are always moving because I have driven so long, so I see more than the younger drivers, but the pullouts seem to always have canoes on that river and other visitors.
Heading southwest, and then to Denver
