Add me to the list Terry... There must be a Ghost in the machine...

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Melody and I didn't get ours either, and I haven't seen any newsletter-related traffic at the helpdesk this morning. (Which is weird...if it doesn't show up, we usually get a lot of messages asking why. And on every other Monday, we get quite a few questions and login requests after it goes out.)

The last one I got was Oct 6.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Didn't get mine either.

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

not here either

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

not here either.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Just got it!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

It looks like we had a server down at the time the newsletter typically runs. They re-started it about two hours ago, so everyone who didn't get it will get a very late edition :-)

(Sallie) Cherry Vall, IL(Zone 5a)

Yep- got it about 15 minutes ago.

Grrr! I Just Checked mine and Still Have Not Recieved Mine..ticks me off as I was the First to Report This Problem This Morning on another thread. I was hoping to see the number of Plants added last week, since I spent Hours and Hours last Week adding plants. Im done complaining..its pointless..as soon as one problem gets resolved even if in a timely manner another worse problem just pops up to take its place..I plan to stay on here through it all till the very end, but I dont know at this point other than not wanting adds and the want of supporting a site I love and enjoy..what the reason is to keep on paying a yearly fee..seriously.

Hi Terry,

I just got a brand new computer, with a decent processor, hard drive, & memory. But, links still are not working, on DG. Links do work on all other sites.
I have been told by other members that links do work.
Here the links show up plain lettered, not highlighted, and don't work.

Have no idea what could cause the links to fail, but everything else is working.

Aloha, Dave

I'm using Windows 8.1

I listed the non-working links on the "known issues" thread - as soon as we have a fix on the horizon, I'll let you know. Hopefully everyone received their newsletter by now.

Kind of weird... I scrolled up and noticed that the link to the newsletter was indeed plain text and not a link. When I clicked "quote", and as I'm typing this, I can see it as a link but with the html end blockquote tag at the end. I right clicked and opened it in a new tab and got a blank page (not sure if I can paste the url and have it display properly):

http://davesgarden.com/weekly.php?news=2014-10-13%3C/blockquote%3E

OK- nope! At least in preview the link APPEARS to be OK, but still opens the url with the end blockquote tag appended.

Edit: and after posting, the link which looked good in preview now has the end tag... weird.

Terry-the link you gave to the Newsletter doesn't work. I love DG but I have to admit that it seems to be always "under construction"

1lisac, the link issue is across-the-board. The techs are working to fix it. I'm honestly not sure why it's taking this long to get it fixed, but I do know it's a high priority.

Remove /blockquote%3E from that URL and it works when you paste it in.

If Anyone Else did not recieve theirs either; here is the link to view it online: http://davesgarden.com/weekly.php?news=2014-10-20 gonna have to put this up on my refrigerator and just change the day in the link every monday if this doesnt get straightened out soon.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I notified the techs mid-morning that there was a potential problem since I had not received mine. This afternoon, I heard back that they had begun re-sending it and are researching why it is not running on schedule.

I received mine a little after 6 tonight.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Mine arrived at 6:20 PM.

Concord, NC
