Strange subsitution

When I try to edit a post (another issue) I now get ' in place of the apostrophes when reading my already existing text. Very bizarre!

I will let them know. We've always had problems with single quote marks on the site - it has to do with the fact they are automatically inserted on cultivar names in PlantFiles.

How come the series of characters I originally entered in my post (5) has now changed to a single quote mark? I did not modify my post. Even here-now the series of characters shows up in Your Message as I type it but when I view the Preview it displays as a single quote/apostrophe? How can this be?

The system may have interpreted what you posted as an attempt to post an html tag,and stripped out the other characters.
