Italics aren't cooperating...

...what gives?

First time I've had that NOT work. Here is the culprit posting this evening:

I put the < and > (with the I) around the Latin terms - to no avail.

OK. As I tried to post the note above, the italics worked just fine.

As did underlining and bold.

It still doesn't work in the posting over on Trees, Shrubs, and Conifers. Why is that?

Well, now it isn't working here either. Son of a gun...it strips out the in the preview, too.

Sorry for the iterations, but I was testing a few things. It works if you edit your post, but not on the original submission. I'll let the techs know.
