Yet another bug, I'm afraid :-(
While viewing a category listing in my journal when I click the image/RID field, all is good. I can view the entry and click on individual photos to view them- although only the first photo for each entry is displayed. Example here: http://davesgarden.com/community/journals/viewentry/377382/
If I select "View" for an individual entry, however, then click on a photo to view it, I get this error:
Database error: Invalid SQL: select a.comment,date_format(a.date,"%b %e, %Y"), a.image, a.entry_type, b.name1, b.rid from j_entries a, j_main b where a.eid = and b.rid = a.rid
MySQL Error: 1064 (You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'and b.rid = a.rid' at line 1)
Session halted.
URL of entry: http://davesgarden.com/tools/journal/viewentry.php?rid=377382
URL of error page: http://davesgarden.com/tools/journal/showimage.php?eid=292815
Can't view individual photos in a journal entry
Thanks.
I'll pass this along.
Incidentally, you did an excellent job of documenting the steps you went through to produce this bug.
This is exactly the information we need when communicating to the tech team. Anyone else who encounters any problems, please take note of how she presented the issue. This lets the tech team quickly go in and reproduce the glitch instead of aimlessly digging around. It should help expedite a fix.
Several years ago I was running Linux and had Apache Web Server, MySQL and PHP installed. I did a lot of programming and had LOTS of practice de-bugging problems!
good to know!
This was fixed! Thanks!
:o)
