How are the "Today's Bloom" photos chosen?

Just curious. Seems some of them repeat a lot, and I'm sure there are many photos that have never gotten to be a "Today's Bloom".

When you say repeat a lot...you mean the same people's photos? (not the same photos).

There is a group of volunteers who divvy up the year and choose the Bloom-of-the-Day. If you are interested in being a volunteer moderator, let us know.
