Holly, Muddy's area is a lot warmer than where I live. I am not sure this plant will survive in the ground in my garden. I think I will keep it by the window in the garage.
Muddy, should I move the Abutilon inside very soon? Or can I just wait until the foliage has been killed by frost?

Thanks Muddy, They aren't hardy in our area, so it has to come inside. Just have to decide what to do with it.
Donner, I think you could safely wait until frost kills the foliage.
These are tough plants! I neglected your plant last winter - I think I put it in the garage but did not water it enough - which is why it didn't look that great when I gave it to you (although I knew it would bounce back).
Thank you, Muddy. I will wait till frost then. It is blooming so beautifully now that I would hate to cut it back.
Our Abutilon was ensconced in theGH well before first frost. :-}
