Posting https links

Northumberland, United Kingdom(Zone 9a)

If I post a link to a link on a secure website (prefix https), it doesn't work as a link but just redirects to the DG forums page:

https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Prunus_padus_Northumberland_2.jpg

Exactly the same link, except with a 'traditional' non-secure link (prefix http) works OK:

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Prunus_padus_Northumberland_2.jpg

Can DG be upgraded for secure links to work as well?

Thanks!

Resin, I wasn't able to replicate this in test:

Can you tell me what site/page you were trying to link to?

A pic from Wikimedia Commons

Oddly, it doesn't apply to the main page:

If you can come up with an example that won't post properly, let me know and we'll track it down.

The one in my first post above ;-)

Repeated here:
(with https) https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Prunus_padus_Northumberland_2.jpg
(with http) http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Prunus_padus_Northumberland_2.jpg

I'm not sure why it's doing that, but it seems like it may be something unique to that URL.

It happens with all image files at Wiki Commons; another random sample:

(with https) https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Neocallitropsis_pancheri.jpg
(with http) http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Neocallitropsis_pancheri.jpg

I'll have to see if it's something on our end, or the site's side.
