Photo uploads scrambled

I very carefully upload one picture at a time, in a specific order that makes sense with the body of my post. But once I do post, the photos are often in a different order. Why does that happen? Is there something technical I'm not aware of? Very annoying, and confusing to the reader.

Pam, you're the second person to specifically cite this issue and I cannot replicate it. I had thought maybe it was a chronology issue and the system was overriding your choices based on the date/time your images were saved, but that's not it: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1360350/ - these were dated 5/4/2012, 4/25/2012, and 6/5/2012 and they came out in exactly the same order I uploaded them.

Can you tell me what browser you're using? That *might* make a difference, and I can try to replicate it with the same browser you're using.

I'm on the iPad. Maybe Apple is doing it? Very odd, everything looked right when I hit send, but in the post they were in a different order. It made my test very confusing, as I identified the pics in the order I intended them to be.

Since then, I haven't posted in a way that the order made a difference (on purpose), and have forgotten to notice if it's still happening.

iOS are still a somewhat exotic critter, and we have a few things that go wonky on iPads and iPhones. Over time, we'll get the kinks worked out (and I'm sure Apple hears about this about their products on other platforms, too so they'll also be working to "tame" them so they play nicely like their bigger counterparts.)
