I need proof-readers

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I spent all day, and I mean ALL day going through my seeds and figuring out this trade list thing.

I am so very new to all of this and I don't know if I have them in the right catagories, and I don't know the genus and species of lots of them. I tried looking them up, but sometimes several plants have the same ones? Is that right?

Lots of these seeds are ones I got in mystery trades, etc. and the only information I have is what was on the package. The only thing I do know for sure is that I have extras, and these are what I listed. Some are that I had two packages of the same kind, and some are those that I got tons of in a trade and didn't use them all, still leaving a fair trade. Some are those that I harvested from my garden friends garden. I tried to make it as equal as possible to Trades and SASE, as so many have helped me out that I want to do the same, while leaving room to get some seeds from my wishlist too.

Can someone(s) please look at my trade list and see what I have in the wrong places, help with names, etc.? I would really appreciate it. Also, where do I put my wishlist?

Thanks a bunch from a newbie at this,
Joan

Joan, I made a new category "wish list" or wanted, something. And then when I added a seed, it gave me that option in the pull down menu.

Thank you tiG, that helps alot. I'll get this figured out yet.

it doesn't have to be perfect!! it does take a long time to get everything entered in, I know. good luck, and when you get your wish list up, I'll see if I can help fill something on it:)

Thank you tiG. It took me all day to get this far, so it might take all night to get the wishlist up. LOL I appreciate your help. I don't know if all the entries I have in the tradelist are in the right spots as to annual/perennial. I'm so new at all this that I'm getting confused. I can't find some of them in the database to help me out either.

Joan, your lists look great! I think Ostrich Fern is a good example of how common names can refer to two different plants; that's why the Latin is so helpful. That is wonderful, the way you tried to keep Trades and SASE equal to help out others who may not have a lot to trade when beginning. That's how we all get started! John

Thanks John for your kind words. This tradelist took me a long time to figure out, but once I got going, it went okay. Just had problems with the genus and species of some of them, but it appears that I did it right. LOL I was up until 5 AM last night (this morning?) and by the time I went to bed I had seeds on every counter and garden catalogs and books everywhere! We had a family dinner, then we had to drive for 8 hours to take our daughter back to college. It's been a long couple of days. I'm so glad we don't have to work tomorrow.

Again, thanks John and tiG for all your help.

Have a great Veteran's Day.
Joan
