yes, last fall's birds are turning up at the feeder. Not yet the cardinals although they have been around all summer.

pretty little guy any warblers here have left for the south. Female cardinal finally showed up under the feeder. she doesn't count since she was here last winter.

Just means it wasn't frightened of people, it would come up to just 5 metres away. Not many wild birds do that, with no expectation of being fed artificially!
