Ok I will ask her to hold them for me. Wow I'm excited to see a date, yes works for me :)
North Central TX Round Up?
Excellent Becky, thank you for your quick response.
Its on my calendar. Looking forward to it!
Good for me if good for marty
Yes! Works for me!
Just hauled in all my trade plants to the sunroom.
This is going great!!! Keep it going.

I am bringing plants in too, what a bummer!!
Anyone seen DFWDennis? I found the Mangrove Spider Lily I have been searching for????
No I haven't, but hopefully he will speak up.
I think I have all the delicates in and / or covered. I am getting more interested in succulents so hopefully DFW Dennis will check in. 2 of my 4 plants from him made it through the summer and winter.
My daughter has a dance recital at 4pm on that day, but I should be able to make it as long as I leave by 2:30 or so.
I'll start potting up succulents now! :)
I know we are all excited Dennis! Well I am anyway...
Me too
Great Dennis, good to hear from you.
My seed packet only has one Daisy on it, I paid $32.99 for a pound of wildflower seeds from Wildseed Inc in 2006 and have been using a teaspoon a year or less since then, I keep them in the refrigerator crisper. Chrysanthemum Leucanthemum Ox-Eyed Daisy.
That is what I want to find is succulents and cactus that can survive if we get to 23 again. Tired of replacing them. Any suggestions?
May 18th works for me. Thanks for scheduling, Josephine!!
You are welcome Carol, keep it coming people.
Gosh, I totally didn't see this thread! May looks to be pretty busy but nothing else is on that day yet. I'll notify the chauffeur (wink wink).
I've sent the word out on FB for folks to check in.
Great news everyone!!!
I have come out of hiding for a moment. I am glad to see the anxious peeps! Looks like Mother Nature took another swipe at us, but missed me this time. Although I didn't trust the tropical potted items, everything went back in the shop for a couple nights. Might venture to get it out this weekend.
Most definitely use your help Stephanie, I will let Josephine decide where she wants us this year.
SWPD - I went to my first RU last fall and didn't have much to share but went home with load of stuff. Had a lot of fun as well. So worry not. Plus, this year I still won't have much except pots and anything I might scrounge up in the yard. I always want irises so be sure to bring 'em.
I have bagged up a lot of oak leaves for Stephanie. Is anyone else interested in leaves for compost? I've got way too many leaves from my 3 oak trees, but also have leaves from Chinese Pistache trees as well as some kinda leaves that blew over the fence from my neighbor's yard.
If anyone wants leaves, please let me know if you care if they're a mix or if you only want oak leaves.
May 18th will work. I had planned to go on an artisan garden tour but the RU has priority.
Hahaha yes RU has priority over lots of things!!!
I agree.
Roundup definitely ranks. I got a new succulent from a customer yesterday, will have to ID it, but it starts well but is not too aggressive. may have enough of that to share, she was generous.
:)
Ok I have my gardener buddy holding ALL pots and flats for me! And this will be ongoing until I ask her to stop. Lol!
Txflowerchild - I will bring iris. Mostly purple but there might be some peach in there also.
Gypsi - glad you figured out your white daisy mystery. They sure are pretty :)
Thanks for letting me come, guys.. hate to be a mooch so I was on the fence about coming! I am planting things like crazy this week, so if my winter sow jugs keep up the way they are, I'll have potted seedlings as well!
Plants just keep on reproducing, and we have to give them to someone, what would you like Becky?
I am happy to report that the Pavilion has been reserved for

Trade thread by StephnieTx
Attendance thread by SheilaFW
Food and Door Prizes by Frostweed
So let us get busy and have fun, I hope to see everyone there.
Josephine.
Gypsi, the better suited question would be, what DONT I want?! Lol!
Seriously though, I have a bed against the west side of my house that's shaded by pines and oaks until early PM, then it gets full sun for the rest of the day. Right now I have yarrow, daylily, mexican petunia, iris and mistflower growing there, but I'm on the hunt for other perennial filler plants that can take the heat.
I'm also doing a wild bed w cactus, agave, yucca, and native plants and wildflowers. I already have a few of each of those to pop in there, but any others that can take the summers here (preferably with no supplemental water), would be super appreciated too.
Just started installing beds on this property last year, amending soils and planting, so this spring has been fun, seeing what has or hasn't come back. Most have returned, and for that I hope I can take some credit. Lol
Josephine thanks for coordinating this and I've got my calendar marked!! =D

So glad to see this getting going !
Its been a long cold winter and this is a way to celebrate
winters' final demise.
I wont have much of interest plants-wise, but some great
door-prizes.
Cant wait to meet and greet !
