Anyone interested in a landscaping forum?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I'm redesigning our front lawn, as well as acting as a "consultant" for my BIL and SIL as they totally renovate their 30-year-old landscaping.

I was thinking it would be nice to share landscaping ideas (and perhaps photos) with other DG'ers. Anyone else interested?

Disclaimer: I've seen a similar forum on another gardening website, but the atmosphere was - quite frankly - too snooty for me. I'm not looking to create a snob-fest forum where we deride anyone's ideas of landscaping (although having a self-deprecating sense of humor helps :) But like some of the other specialty forums here (Market Growers, Greenhouse, etc.), I think it would be nice to have a place to bounce ideas off each other?

Anyone else interested? I know Dave likes to gauge the interest level before launching yet another forum, so speak up! (I could always go there to talk to myself, but I don't need a forum on DG to do that, LOL!)

I would! We're going to be completey redoing the front yard in the spring, so taking pictures now while it's bare might be an easy way for some of you to get and give great ideas, without the view of what I currently have planted interfering.

this sounds like a great idea. all the landscaping i'm doing is from square one and i would love all the ideas i can get.

I'm always ready for a new forum......GREAT idea...vic

I'd be all for it! We started from scratch on 11 acres 3 years ago, figure it will take 10 more years to get things the way we want them.

(It would also be nice to have a no-snoot atmosphere, GV - if we're talking about the same forum, I actually saw people get pounded for asking simple questions.)

Done!

Geez, I didn't even get to say yes and it's there! So will we have to reintroduce you to your family and friends anytime soon, Dave????

Boy!!! That was fast. Now if my yard would get done as fast I would have it made.
