Well darn it! It's just one dang thing after another. Went back downstate to help a bit more with new baby. First got a call , our furnace had quit...still very cold here.....DGS got the service man in and it's a cracked heat exchanger, which means a new furnace, Really needed this right now. Next day our tenant calls and the furnace there won't stay lit. GRRRRRR. Fortunately it looks like it can be repaired. Also fortunately our bank re-opened a line of credit loan I was so proud to have paid off.

Our kids want to give dad a surprise dinner for his 75th b'day which is the end of next week. We will go down state for that and then on to TN to DGD's she is only about 45 mins from Pigeon Forge so will have hubby drop me off on the 2nd. By the way what time can we be there???

I'm Going no matter what....well almost, if both cars die, I'll be pretty well done in.

WooHoo! We'll be there, too! Judy, Sherry and I are going down on Monday afternoon and staying in Gatlinburg Monday and Tuesday night. That way we can see a little more.

Joyce ask around in Gatlinburg about the Artisan area. It's just out of town, there are wonderful maps. We didn't get to see them all as we were there on a Sunday and not all are open then but sure plan on going back.

Have been there many times! Don't have to ask directions as I can drive right there!

Great Joyce, have a good time. My DGD lives in Knoxville area and I will be coming from there. Less than an hours drive.

I'm always relieved when I make the turn in Knoxville because I know we're almost there!!
