With my aim, I can't count on hitting a moving target of any kind!
I would like to have at least one reasonable snow fall (a foot or less), but not the heavy ones we had in 2009 and 2010.

You'd be surprised what you can hit if you really had to. Did you get your Christmas shopping done? Tomorrow would be a good time for that snowfall, yes?
I did about as much as is going to get done.
I'd rather not see snow until March so that there's more of a chance that it'll melt quickly!
