calendar idea

What about a calendar? Where we could enter our BDs and anniversaries if we want? or our surgery, or whatever? Maybe we could also delete them later if we choose? Is that do-able? I know I have really appreciated everyone remembering my anniversary (okay, I only mentioned it a thousand times:) but it was so nice, and I'd like to keep up with others special days too. Whatcha think?

Hey tiG what a neat idea I was thinking the same thing the other day that I wished there was a way we could know members birthdays so we could send an email or post or something.But other events would be great too. Maybe just post a monthly calandar where we could add things to it if we want to and do it monthly.

I definitely like this idea. I frequently forget to go back and check on someone having a problem or I forget why someone isn't posting, like vacationing, surgery, etc. The membership here has reached the size of a village, it's no longer just a community, and I forget to go down the less travelled lanes. I love these innovations.

Was thinking about a calendar myself the other day only having Dave's Garden Calendars made up and sold. Having different photes on each month that people have posted in the forum; especially those that have been chosen winners of the photo contest. Have Dave's family as one picture and go for a different one for each month after that.

The later may not be a good idea, so many members, it will get full so quick.

well, a calendar on our homepage would be really really hard to keep up with, so many members and you'd have to check each one a couple of times a week.
