Walking on Air This Morning

I'm about 2 feet off the floor this morning as I was given some great news last night. My DD and SIL announced they are going to have a baby. Yahoo!!!!! I am going to be a GRANDMA next summer.

They have been married for 4 years and they are 30 yrs. old now, it's about time in my eyes. LOL I am the only person in my group of friends that doesn't have a grandchild...but now, I can become "one" of them. Yippee, Yahoo!!

Can you tell I'm just a little excited!!!!!!

Awwwww, big hug and congrats, Donna! My oldest is 16, so I really hope it's a long while before I get to be a grandma, but I hear it's a lot of fun!!!!

Oh, happy day! There is no feeling like holding your grandchild for the first time. If we had known grandkids would be so special, we would have skipped the kids and gone straight to the grands. I will say an extra prayer for a healthy Mommy, a problem free pregnancy and a wonderful and safe delivery, with all toes and fingers in place. Let the knitting and shopping begin.

Yes, I will spoil "it" rotten and send home to mom and dad and yes, "it" will get lots of love from both sets of grandparents. Oh, I forgot to tell you, both of the parents are only children, so you can imagine how much stuff and love that child is going to have.

Jim, I don't think I can ever be taller than you...and Paul, best wishes for you on your soon to be gr. child. And Gwydion, I will keep my fingers crossed for you also.
