Dave, I just tried to get into the chat room... it said i needed a new plug-in. I have just insrtalled a new HD, and re-installed Netscape (as an upgrade)... and when I check on 'get plug-in' it says none found. Remember, I am a Mac user. Any clues??

I'm investigating right now.

In the meantime: Do you have Internet Explorer? If you try accessing via Internet Explorer, what happens?

Also, what version of Netscape are you using? Have you gone into the Preferences and checked to make sure that Java is enabled? It should be in the "Advanced" area of the preferences.

Dave, Thanks. Yes, I have IE, but don't like it. I have Netscape 6, which I just downloaded. I really liked 4.7+ better, but couldnot access half.com in 'security' mode to acknowledge book sales, so I upgraded.

I have 2 hard drives and may go back to the old Ntescape 4.7 for DG on the other drive, and leave this one alone. Hate this version.
