only one small problem to resolve

my pages are all perfectly sized. i have cleared my caches, histories, etc. and re-booted.
the only glitch i have and have had since the new "look" came out is on the PF pages. i'll click on a plant name and the pictures and description are fine but when i scroll down to read feedback, a tiny portion of the right hand side is cut off so that i don't get to see everything said re: the plant.

any help out there?

I have the same issue. That seems to be my only glitch, but I do use PlantFiles a lot.

tim, i just read through your thread from the link you provided.
i use Safari and Chrome, but mostly Chrome, so i switched to Safari to see if it would be normal but it was worse.
i have a Mac. i think all of my settings are okay but i'll check around. i'm so bad at figuring that stuff out. :'(

I've also got a Mac, and I use only Safari. All my settings are ok too, but I can relate…I'm not so good at figuring this stuff out either…What I don't get, is this is the only problem area I have! All other sites are perfect! No problems! Just the Files here at DG….Frustrating….

I have the same problem in Plant Files, and also have a Mac and use Safari and Chrome.

i tried messing with settings a little last night. nothing works.......it's not the end of the world if i can't see a few words on a feedback but it's weird. it's just cut off and then a white border around it like normal on a page. the pictures are fine...no cut offs there.

I have discovered that I don't have that problem using Firefox if I don't zoom out any larger than 100%. It doesn't matter about the zoom on Chrome. It still cuts off the right in Plantfiles.

I have the same problem on my iPad mini, the comments are cut off on the right hand side. There is no way to change or adjust the browser, it's Safari the way Apple set it up and that's that. I thought the update in programming was specifically to work better with mobile devices, and only older operating systems and browser versions would possibly have problems. But iPhones and iPads, etc, are the new stuff. I don't understand why this is still a problem?

Don't be too depressed. I am sure they will eventually get around to fixing this. They still seem to be a bit swamped right now.

thanks for the encouragement, zm, but the way i understood it, this particular thing isn't something they can fix...it is a glitch in certain browsers (like chrome and safari).
i will be zen-like and get over it! lol
believe me, it would take more than this to keep me away from DG. i'll go kicking and screaming.

All I can say is "ditto", track…It's almost become a game for me now…guessing what the poster said in their comments.

But I do have a hard time agreeing with it being a glitch in the particular browsers…Never had the problem before…And don't have the problem anywhere else….
