I got to get to work this week, they are calling foor frost the end of this week and cleaning out bad bedroom. Couldn't stand that sofa. Hubby has cold so I moved there to not catch it. I used that bedroom as a "catch all" and believe me it has. Now I got to empty most....

I just now fully read some of the posts and one I missed was where that hawk almost got Abigail , poor baby, both Charlene and her. That happens here too, they circle my house in threes it seems when my box turtles are running around here. The turtle look up too and get going to their hides really fast. I'm their protector too I try to scare them off. One year, I watched a hawk right in my front yard kill a dove and tear it apart until it ate all of it right at my front door where I had an up close view from the other side of the window. I think it took him about an hour and all he left were the feathers. I was just amazed and left in wonder.
Beautiful star fish plant Elizabeth.
Sorry I've been so gone, so much is happening here, all at the same time. Monday they gutt the kitchen and we have to empty everything out, our frig will be moved into the garage food and all I hope, we still need to eat..while they install cabinets , tiling etc.. One more month.. I hope.
You guys have some green thumbs.

Charleen
Great Pic's, it looks like you're very organized, I am getting there, one more trip to the Garage, then I'll post Pic's of it, my DD has been a Great Help to me
did you do all that yourself? if so you've been working Hard, we did Get a Frost either last night or this Morning, the tops of the Castor Beans looks like cooked Spinach.
in a couple days, I'll start a new thread, this one is getting long.
oh BTW, I love the yellow Brug, that's Hubby's favorite.
if you get the chance to Trade with Antoinette, that Girl sends Boxes stuffed with Goodies.
Elizabeth
Yes, I did do a trade with Antoinette. I love getting little surprises, I try to do it too.
Elizabeth, we got our first frost last night. Only thing we (hubby helped) was my Red Banana trees but they will come back from roots. I need to divide them. Ain't gonna be easy either. It is in a large container.. But i will get it...
Robert never says which Brug is his favorite, I guess if I like it, he likes it...but he does help. that means a lot to me...
Charleen
I happy you both like what I sent and believe me you both sent me wonderful packages. Thank you.
Charlene, how neat about your banana being outside. I'm going to try a more tropical look this coming ear too. Your elephant ear looks huge, what type is that. I also have a couple going here.
I do have a question Charlene, how often do you water any of your Brugs that you leave in the ground. I have one cypress gardens in the ground and each year I've lost the ones in the ground but I think I overwater them. I don't know when it's too much, I always think that if I keep them wet, they won't dry out during winter, but it's not working. The only thing I know yo try is get them on a watering schedule but don't have a clue as to how many times a month ..
Elizabeth, your monster agave is nice. They can get really heavy for sure.
A.
Charleen
Looks so Pretty, Nice Plants you have there, Thank you for sharing with us
Antionette
Thank you I have small one.s if you would like one, I am going to take a lot of Pups off the Big one
Hey I have started a new Thread, see you there
Elizabeth
Gourd, You don't water them thru the winter, do you? When it gets cold and I leave them outside I don't water them. But the ones in the greemhouse I do when they wilt and that is all....
Elizabeth. I'll go find that new link and post it here for you.....
We have moved!!! Here is new home...
