Font size

It has been a while since I have seen anything in regards to the font size displayed on here. I find I can only stay here at DG for a short amount of time before I need to leave as the size is so small reading is difficult. Has there been any progress on this issue at all? Thank you.

Barb, I know they are working on some solutions. We have a weekly conference call mid-day today and I hope to get some updates and ETAs then.

Some browsers respond to Ctrl + and Ctrl - to increase or decrease the displayed font size. I am using Firefox at the moment, and I can actually get your new forum format all onscreen on my 18-inch diagonal Sony LCD monitor without a scroll bar by hitting Ctrl - enough times. However, I prefer the readability of the larger font size with a scroll bar.

Considering the growing use of smaller display screens in laptops and tablets and even smart phones, Dave's Garden was doing a bold "bucking the trend" thing to go to a wider format for the forum.

Zen_Man, it may seem wide, but the new text area is considerably narrower than what it replaced. Hopefully we will soon have some happy news to share on font and scrolling issues.

Thank you Terry.....

Terry - I have been sitting back feeling good that my system seemed to be working perfectly with your new styled site. But something happened between 9 AM this morning and now. The screen looked right this morning - good font size and fitting perfectly on the screen. But I turned on the computer just now and all is bunched up on the left. Still readable - but 2 skinny columns only (left and middle) and lots of room blank on the right. Is this a result of your trying to fix those folks who said they were scrolling off to the right? I can live with this, but it is a change and seems like a lot of wasted space. Is anyone else experiencing this?
