Uploading pictures?

I have tried twice today and can't get my pictures to upload. Is there a problem? I have not had any trouble before. Just checking.

Sami, what exactly is happening? Is it just being slow (I sometimes have that happen) or are you not seeing the "Choose a File" link? Or is it something else?

It is trying to load but it just sits and never loads. It says it is loading and I have waited for a much as ten minurtes and it never loads. I choose the file and it says loading but never does load. I have never had this problem before. I have waited as long as 20 minutes and it never happens.

Sami ~ Have you tried rebooting your computer or clearing your browser/cache? Even though DG has been changing things around, I haven't read anyone say it's caused problems uploading photos. I would probably try doing both of those things and then try uploading again...maybe an entirely different pic.

As a matter of fact I just did that this morning thinking that might help. But it didn't. Will keep trying though

I am trying not get upset because I had some good news from my dr today about a scan I had to have and it came out normal so was very thankful.

How large is the file you're trying to upload?

the file is 1.36 mb Is that too large?

That's big, but not huge. In comparison, the pics you uploaded here are only about 100 kb each: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1269933/#post_9197636

For testing, I uploaded the photo below, which is almost 5 mb. It took a second or two to upload but it went in fine. I'm on a high-speed connection, which helps.

I just checked some photos I recently uploaded to one of the threads. They varied from under 1 mb to over 5 mb, all with no problem. I also have a high-speed connection.

Sami, are you only having this problem with one pic? Have you tried others that are smaller?

I'll try a smaller file. Didn't work. Must have something going on with my computer. Need to have some work done on it.
